| Re: On the Road Again! My dad had been in the Coast Guard stationed at Cherry Point, NC during WWII. He and my mom got married during the war, and the lived in Missouri (where my mom was from) until my uncle moved to Orange County in the late 40's and then they followed.

| Re: On the Road Again! Welcome! I think people who dont think veggies are actually encouraged on this diet, havent really researched Atkins or read the book. lol Welcome to the boards! Dont forget to take measurements, they can really keep you going when the scale wont budge.

| Re: On the Road Again! Thanks Cheers2you. I have taken my measurements, but how do you get an accurate measurement when you have to tie two tape measures together? LOL Seriously, I am showing good progress there. I am down 12 inches in my waist, with about 10 more to go. I had to laugh because my boss said something to me about my weight loss yesterday.
