Giraffe055 is on a distinguished road
Default Back on Atkins.....not yet

Hello,

I tried Atkins about a year ago, and stopped. I should have stuck with it, because I saw results!! I lost 8 pounds in one week!! So, I am going to head out to Walmart and buy some stuff to help me along the way. For those who love beef hamburgers, please try turkey hamburgers. They are just as good and lower calories, cholestrol, and fat! Atkins is the way to go, but please all do it the healthy way! I am sure you all can, and I commend you on a new start to your life. It is hard I know, I guess that is why in a sense it took me so long for to re-start it, but now that I am 30, my motto is to look better in my 30's than I did in my 20's!! I wish you all luck and hang it there!!

Hey giraffe!! I too want to look better in my 30's than I ever did in my twenties. I have taken it upon myself to no longer be the "chubby/sturdy/puffy/pilsbury boy" that I am today within my group of friends. I hope to be in better shape this summer than i've been in my life. My wife and I are going to be starting a family soon, and I want to make sure I have enough energy to be able to chase those little ones aorund!! My nephews tought me that I am WAY out of shape now!! Best of luck to you!!

Hi Giraffe! You've learned a lesson. Starting Atkins, seeing results means you need to stick with it, for life. This way of eating is so plush, there's no reason to eat yucky carbs!
