Jaz! Nice to meet you! Welcome to the board. From your reading around you know that there is a great group of people out here who can relate to you 100%! Can you tell us how much weight you would like to lose?

The book is a must to prepare yourself for what's ahead. In the meantime, reading around the board!

Welcome Jaz! Nice to have you aboard!

You're so right to read the book and start properly. Doing Atkins by the book is to be on the most direct road to success. Make sure you get hold of the 2002 edition, which is the one this board goes by and is the last one Dr A wrote in its entirety.

Looking forward to reading posts on your progress.
Happy low carbing!

Hey Jaz, welcome to the board!! My name is Scooter, just wanted to welcome you and let you know, this way of life works! I came here a year ago. 295 pounds. I've lost 76, lost 10inches off my waist, 3X shirts to XLarge and I'm not even done yet!!

Most excellent that you're picking up a copy of the book and wanting to do things the right way. Kudo's to you for wanting to accomplish that! Excellent.

I'd like to share some links and threads that might help to prepare you for this way of life....

Best of wishes! Life is good!
