ibrokethebed:( is on a distinguished road
Default 2nd time around

I'm ready to lose the weight! The first time I was on Atkins I lost 30 lbs and got pregnant (after trying for 3 years). 2 years later I'm back to the weight I was when I started the 1st time. I hit rock bottom the other day when my side of the bed broke. DH fixed it the following morning but I still cried myself to sleep and felt sooo embarrased. But I feel ready now. I started this morning and I haven't cheated but I am craving sugar. I drank a diet sierra mist and it only made me hungry. I hate the way diet soda tastes so I wont be doing that anymore.
Thanks everyone and wish me luck

Hi ibrokethebed! You can do this, we are all here for you! Your sugar cravings will stop once you're into ketosis, and all of the carbs have left your body. I would suggest completely ditching "diet" anything, particularly sodas. If you lay off of those for a few days it will help with the cravings. In the meantime, drink lots of water!
