| Welcome to the group.. My biggest advice that I like to give newbies is to PLAN PLAN PLAN.. Know what or where you are eating before you go this coming week.. And when discouraged come here and read and read..and cheering others on helps to keep you in line too |

Sounds like you did fantastically well before, on a modified Atkins plan, which is terrific! What are you planning this time? The same again, or by-the-book-Atkins? You never know... you might lose even faster/more by trying that. Looking forward to reading of your successes, whatever you opt for!

| Welcome WB~I think you'll see that this can be a great woe if you stick to the plan by doing induction, carrying on to OWL and then on to Maintenance. Exercise is key~~check out the exercise challenges forums...lots of motivation over there too. There are some people on this board who now eat 80grams/carbs/day, or more, and they're still losing, and they're able to do that because they've stuck to the plan. It's important to remember that it's not 20 grams/carbs/day forever! Nice to meet you and we'll see you on the board! |
