| Hi Lori! Welcome to the board. Atkins is the best, it's healthy and keeps you satisfied. Can you pinpoint why you've failed in the past so it doesn't happen again? I can tell you that the support on this board is terrific for keeping us on the straight and narrow! Come around often.

| Hello everyone and thank you for such a warm welcome. I do believe the reason I have failed is because I have never had to diet before - until the last few years due to my age/metabolism changing. When I started worrying about my weight gain, I was mostly told by others to basically cut back my portions and increase my exercise - in which I am fairly active with golf, tennis and go to the gym about 3 days a week. I have been unsuccessful at losing much weight and now I know I need to follow something specifically. I also have to admit that I am a carboholic. I need to join Carboholics Annonymos! LOL I am so happy to find this group and I am sure I will find the support I need here. |
