| Good luck to you ... I also just found these forums and so far I have lost 20 pounds..(6 weeks)...I'm amazed by people's results and compasion for one another. You will fit into your jeans really soon. I have a lot more weight to lose than you but I know it's finally possible. |

| Welcome to ADBB! I think you'll find the Atkins way of life to be the most satisfying weight loss method you have ever tried. On Atkins you actually get to EAT! Not only that, but you get the chance to detox yourself from all kinds of nasty stuff. You're almost sure to lose weight with this eating plan but don't get discouraged if you don't lose as fast as your friend. Unfair as it may be, guys have the edge when it comes to weight loss. Oh, and I hear ya about buying new fat jeans. I recently bought my first pair of 18s and I nearly left the store in tears. It was a size I swore I would NEVER wear. However, after only a week on Atkins, they are already a bit loose! SO...stay true to the Atkins WOE, get adequate exercise, drink oodles of water, take your vitamins and soon you'll be strutting your stuff in your sexy jeans again! | Hey!! Congrats to you! Make sure you read the book and follow the rules hardcore!! Tons of people don't know much when they start if they haven't read the book and then they don't lose weight and maybe it's because they are using too many splenda's in their coffee's (which you shouldn't have coffee and shouldn't have more than 3 splenda a day) - just an example...small things can totally prevent you from losing weight..so do your homework and we are here to help you! YAY FOR YOU!! YOU WILL BE A **** IN NO TIME!!! xoxo |

| I hear ya, Elohssa! I, too, am trying to lose my baby weight. I've let this go far too long, and i think it's time. This is my 2nd week, and it's by far the easiest way I've found to lose weight!! Good luck and don't give up!!

| You are making the right choice and all of the virtual friends on here are awesome! You'll lose that 35 you need to lose soon enough. I've done the whole pills (phenermine) route and all I did was stay up for days...sucked, didn't lose squat! Good luck!!!
