| hey! ditto...i have done the same thing!!! mine is sugar though...sugar sugar sugar...i do well for a week or so and then binge all day for like 2 days....i am with ya!!!! we can do this though...we can!!!! good luck and happy eating!

| Hi Trix, Welcome to ADBB. This WOL works very well, but the first few days are tough, as you know. Make sure you promise yourself that you'll stick with it until induction flu passes - once that is done everything gets so much easier. Best of luck with the WOL

| Welcome!! Barb is right, it does get easier after the first few days, and you pass the induction flu as you're kicking carbs & sugar. The only way to succeed the first few days I'm afraid, is sure rock gut will power!!! Each time you're tempted, remember to ask yourself why you want to do this and if you really want to continue feeling unhealthy and overweight. And it does help if you avoid sodas and make sure you drink LOTS of water. 3-4 quarts a day is not unusual on this board. |

| Welcome Trixie! You can do this! Sounds like you have your mind set. It's all in how bad you want it. Remember It's not a fast fix, it's a life style. Baarb's right, get through the first few days and it will get easier. If you feel weak, just come on board for help. There's always someone here to support you. Best of health to you!

| Hellooooo there. Oh ... I relate so well to what you are saying. My biggie used to be bread. Bread, bread, BREADDDDDDDDD - morning, noon and night. I couldn't imagine a world without bread. But ... know what? Now I'm like: Bread .... wot's that? I still have burgers - except I have my low carb burger pattie with tomato slice, cheese, onion, mayo wrapped in lettuce leaves. Try it. It's FAB!! Very popular in my home. Everyone wants one - 'cos it's one of those squirty finger food type meals. Gives you that real burger feel with mayo squigding in every which direction. All the best to you. Get through induction and your cravings will fade. When you feel yourself staring longingly at the fast food ... come and talk to us. We'll talk you down. Lotsa luv to you. |

| Hey Gaynora, thats how I eat my hamburgers too. Actually all my sandwiches. It is fab! Don't even miss bread at all.
