Wink new to atkins

hi everyone i have been browsing the boards for months now and just started the 2 week induction and im really lacking motivation due to the fact that i have tried so many diets. i have tried atkins before for a short period of time and did well i lost weight. I have been researching and trying to figure out the best way for me to go to lose weight and i do believe that atkins is the best for me low cal/low fat just dont cut it. i have about 100 pounds to lose and i think this site is very inspiring

Hey there Tracy! Welcome! Glad you found us here at ADBB... it's a terrific place for support and good low carbing advice.

I'm sure you'll find you'll be successful on Atkins again if you follow the plan properly. Post lots, join in challenges, start a journal, make friends... all fun and motivating.

Looking forward to reading of your successes. Happy Atkineering!

Welcome aboard, Tracy! Try the recipe section to try some new things--experimenting with new foods has really helped me. Also, try one of the exercise challenges. They help you get motivated and start a regular exercise program.

Good luck and hang on, after the first few days you'll start feeling more energy and feeling better, that will help your motivation. Just hang on thru the first sometimes tough days!

Welcome. Glad to have you join us. You've picked a great place to get the motivation you are looking for. Don't look at this as a diet, we've all been there before and somehow using that word inflicts 'failure' into our minds. This is a new and exciting life-style change that works. You've got the best support system here with lots of warm friendly people to share your journey with. Make positive plans to be successful. Join the challenges, journals and conversations with those who are making it happen. Belonging to the ADBB and making lots of friends will keep you encouraged - and the new WOE (way of eating), and exercise will make you feel healthier.

We're all here for you, cheering you on and willing to help in any way we can. Best wishes, keep us posted on your progress.

I'm just saying welcome since I think everyone covered the other important stuff... exercise, water, checking in here... starting a journal here helped me and provides entertainment and support when I'm feeling low/doubting the WoL/want to cheat, etc.
