Good Morning Everyone....
My name is Karen and I stumbled across this bulletin board on Cruise Critic...We have a "lose before you cruise" thread there and there was a reference to this site and I decided this is where I need to be.
I started induction on June 6th and as of yesterday I have lost 30 pounds....I have many more to lose...My ultimate goal is 100+ pounds....While weight loss is certainly why I started Atkins, my blood sugar has improved dramatically...my HA1C dropped from 8.4% to 5.99% in six weeks!! I am thrilled...
My hope in joining you guys here, is to find a support group to help me through this long journey and even into a life time of healthy eating.
