| Saffron (love that name) welcome! Roam the board a bit, join in the activities... maybe take on an exercise challenge, or start a journal, or try out a low carb recipe... all fun and motivating. Make friends on the board. If you make yourself accountable, everything's easier. Lots of us have been where you are now... starting and restarting over and over. Why not check out the Second Time Around Club (STAC). They're a great bunch over there and have all "come back for seconds"! Lots of advice to be had there. You're so right that the best way to do Atkins is to do it by the book. Those modifications can be the kiss of death to many. This is a way of life, and as you go along it gets easier and easier. Just grit your teeth and hang in there the first few days. Happy losing!

| This diet does work as you obviously know! I have never lost as much as I needed, and it was always my fault by thinking I can cheat here and there. This is my fourth time on atkins also, and I feel this is the one. This board is filled with information and support so its a GREAT help, glad your back and doing it!!
