| Welcome to ADBB Emmy, I am glad you found this site too because your weight problem will soon be over if you follow the book. Congrats on your seven pound loss so far, that is a great start. Browse around the board and soak in all it has to offer. There are so many great people here. Make some friends and stay the course. We are all in this together for the same purpose and that is to get healthy and lose some weight. You can do this Emmy, just believe !! be sure and drink your water, my best advice to you.

Join some challenges with us, that's a great way to meet people. We have a book reading challenge coming up. If you haven't already done so, reading the book will be the best tool you will have to eat Atkins style!

| Welcome, Emmy! We started off at near the same weight and I needed to lose 150, too. I'm closing in on goal & and have never enjoyed my food so much. I had serious surgery a little over a week ago, and my sister (non-cooking) came from another state to take care of me. I cooked up a bunch of Atkins friendly dishes and froze them in individual servings so I could stay legal. My sis is skinny as a pole, but she has tried nearly everything, and loved it all. As bad as she hates to cook, she has asked for recipes and said that they were so good that she wold cook them. You will enjoy this so much! Sunny!
