Hello, my name is Sonya

Where do I begin other than I have always struggled with my weight. I am single mom of three grown children (23, 17, 16) and a grandmother to two beautiful grandkids (3, 2) . I am 39 and I would love to look great next year for my 40th Birthday in September. I would like to lose 25 lbs. at first and then who knows. I know I will need alot of support because its so hard to stay on track, especially because my home life is so busy. Its easy to stay on track at work (most of the time), but when I get home its not so easy. I really hope that I can do it this time.

Hi Sonya. Welcome. Things that help stay on track are making lists of why you want to lose the weight, what will it do for your health and your appearance? Write it out and read it every day. Make a committment to yourself and feed your mind with positive thoughts about how this WOE will help you achieve those goals. If you keep the dream alive, it will happen.

YAY!!!!! Sonya is actually a coworker of mine =) So I definately have to say WELCOME and I'm SUPER proud.

We've been "dieting" for the last 2 years together and gotten absolutely nowhere. So I'm glad we're giving this a shot - a total of 7 of us from our work actually! Its a nice buddy system since it means as a group we can stop bringing in all that workplace candy and donuts!
