 hi new here from texas
| Hi everyone my name is Dawn im 25 years old and i have 2 boys ages 3 and 8. I have been overweight now for almost 14 years i was a normal healthy child up until the age 11 or 12 when my mother got divorced and we had to move to the city :anger i was a country girl always outside always active we went to church all the time and i had lots of friends everyone knew each other :hug . when we moved to the city everything changed the people were way different not so nice the kids at my new school were different too they all grew up together and knew each other which me i was new and when i did make friends the others would just get mad and tell me if i talked to her they wouldnt talk to me .so i just decided to keep to myself i wouldnt go outside stayed inside most of the time plus where we lived wasnt such a good area and i wasnt used to gangs and people cussing all around. plus they broke into our house and stole our tvs and stuff and my oldest brother had a gang of boys jump him for his HAT! PEOPLE A HAT how sad is that. i gained alot of weight from not going out too scared by the time i was in highschool i weighed almost 300 pounds. which im thankful nobody never really messed we me about my weight i made friends very easy.when i was 15 my mom bought me a treadmill and i started walking almost 2 to 3 miles a day in no time i dropped down to 240 pounds i felt so good abiut myself boys starting noticing me. That was my mistake i noticed them too at the age of 16 i got pregnant and married by the time i hade my son i weighed 320 pounds my biggest weight ever 1997.
I tried the treadmill thing again but just gave up cause it was hard being so young and taking care of a baby and a husband. so my friend and i started playing basketball at night we both were losing together and it was great for awhile but the it just stopped then through out the years from 1997 -2000 i got back down to about 270. then in 2000 my husband went into the army i felt soo lonley and i was constantly worring about him. well he met another woman where he was stationed
and he had the nerve to bring her back here to texas WEll thats a whole other story. Anyways in 2001 one i got pregnant again just when i started losing weight i got passed the 300 mark again after he was born in 2002 thats when i first tried the atkins i dropped 30 pounds in one month but i wasnt feeling good i felt dizzy and such thats cause i didnt do it right i thought you were supposed to cut out all carbs boy was i wrong .since 2002 i have gone off and on atkins lost the weight gained it right back Now its 2005 and im ready not for a diet but for a new way of life
and im hoping to have alot of support and make new friends OH sorry that my sentnces go on and on but im not to bright in that area lol well this is most of my life lots more but didnt want to bore you
