| Hi Michele, Welcome to ADBB! Everyones mileage varies so i cant say for sure that you can do that, maybe, maybe not! everyone loses slower on the second time around, theres a forum here called "Second time around club" as some people come across difficulties on their 2nd, 3rd of 4th time around. Good job on the exercise, atkins without exercise isnt really atkins, that will be sure to speed things up. Good luck on your journey! post often, this board is a wealth of information!

| Just approach it like this is the very first time and that you WILL lose the weight just as fast. Your mind-set has a lot to do with it. I was several years older and many pounds heavier and I lost more and quicker the second time around. Even if you don't--how much would you weigh in 7 - 8 months if you didn't try at all??? Even if you only lose 20 pounds in 7 months, it's better than staying the same or gaining. You sure need the energy from Atkins to keep up with 5 kidlets! You can do it! I know you can! Sunny!

| Hey Michele! I remember you! I'm so glad to see you back on the Atkins wagon with us. Good for you for starting today rather than waiting till the end of the year! You just do everything correctly, do your exercise and eat properly and you should have success again. Besides that, come around the board often to let us know how you're doing.

| Hey Michelle, Come join us STACers in the "Second Time Around Club" - it's a great group of people working through this WOL for the 2nd, 3rd or more times... just like you! Besides... we need a few more West Coasters (time zone thingy) on the board ! I started at around 228/230 (didn't check) and now, 2 weeks in, I've dropped to 219 - that's a good 10 pounds! But I'm not putting a time limit on things... I plan on working at this WOL forever, up the rungs until I'm in maintenance... and I don't care how long it takes or what my end weight will be!! Well, okay, I'd like to be a 150 or less but I'm taking it in small steps so that I can maintain this way of eating and not fall off again (this is my 3rd go around... each time I had great success [half-way to goal] and then just started eating white stuff [and gaining]!). It would be great for you to lose your weight quickly, but then you may find that you haven't really explored the rungs to learn what you can eat without gaining. Then... next thing you know you're on induction again.Hope to see you posting with all us STACers! Vickie |

| Hey again, Michele, Go to "Forums" in the bar above... then scroll down to "Miscelaneous Forums". You'll find the "Challenges Forum" there. There are likely other places to find challenges... just browse through the forums. | Welcome back Soccermomof5! Post often, don't be afraid to ask questions, explore ADBB as there is alot of great info available, start a journal and join a few challenges. Read your DANDR book & keep it handy to refer to often! You'll find ADBB the greatest support system in the world!
