I'm glad you have come back! You can do this with the attitude that you have shown to all of us. Look forward and don't worry about the past - just focus on the future and how good you are going to feel. You should keep a journal and that will hold you accountable to this WOL.

Hey Fat2fine! Welcome back to the ADBB! I know what you're experiencing. My first time around on Atkins I lost 70 pounds. I gained it all back in a year! It's sickening how fast the weight can come back on. I know for me it was hard to get started again on Atkins, but once I did, once it clicked, it has been pretty easy. I wish you all the luck. If you commit yourself now, you're clothes will start to fit in no time, your energy will come back, and you'll just feel better about yourself overall. Happy Losing!

Bluebelt, you hit the nail on the head! Once we get it into our thick heads that this is for LIFE and not a diet, only THEN will we be successful.

Cool Re: embarassing comeback

Well Fat2Fine.. I had to sit back for a moment and think... do I sleeptype? Hmmmmm.......

The people on this board are right... what matters is that you are back here and giving it another go! You're here looking for support ..and help, just like so many of us.... something tells me we're at the right place!

I plan to post in the STAC section... I think these "first timers" are AMAZING for succeeding first try! They must all have a huge amount of will power!! Kudos to all of you.... but I also think the people in the STAC might be people that like us, have a hard time sticking to it but really wanna make it work. I've read a lot of good tips and tricks there to help overcome obstacles.

Good Luck achieving your goal.. you can do it...!!

Hi fat2fine! Thank you for posting your story, I'm sure that was not the easiest thing to do! Howewver, putting it all down like that lets us know you've hit the reality of your life and are willing to do something about it! Come around the board daily for great support and friendship.

Also, you might want to start a journal for yourself at Journal Chats, or go visit the people at Second Time Around Club. There's great groups of people in both of those forums that would gladly help you along your journey!

Hey there Fat2Fine, girl you need to come over the STAC, the second time around club forum...so many people who have posted here are over there too! We check in every day, and we take our journey seriously like so many do here...WE have the good fortune of having been here done that before...So we are tricky tricky people, we know the head-games and the shame, and we all ARE learning to make this a way of life.
There is a post for those who wanted to go back to induction and break that strong hold some of us got into with carbs this holiday season....Pop in and post!
Jess

Just wanted to join the others in welcoming you back to Atkins. It's good to have you here with us to share your journey to better health and a trim figure.
No need to feel embarrased. The important thing is that you are here and that you understand that this has to be a lifestyle change, not a hop on/hop off diet.

You're on your way now and in a matter of days you'll be feeling so much better about yourself.
Post lots and keep us up to date as to your progress. We're behind you all the way!
