That is why I am no longer a member of eDiets. They know less than nothing about Atkins. The supposed 'experts' would tell people on induction that it was okay to have a little cake or whatever at a party! That the diet was about moderation, not deprivation! They are big on pushing the Atkins low carb junk food, too.

Just go by the book and you will be fine! I'm glad you found a website that goes by Dr. Atkins plan that he spent 40 years perfecting.

Hiya Nursegal and welcome to the ADBB! We're really happy you joined our Atkins family here.

I'll ditto everything the others have said, but add that if you're losing inches, you should be fine. Often we lose inches before lbs. The scale catches up later (unless you're building muscle mass, which weighs heavier than fat, volume for volume). Muscle is good.
Inches are a far better indication of the body morphing than the scales.

Wow ladies, you were right! After taking your advice I did well with dinner and this morning's bfast. Silly though to weigh myself this morning, but I was DOWN 2 POUNDS! Prob. water from the lite soy sauce...hahaha....but still, listening to those who know what they are doing (you) have helped me so much! And as always, thank you so much for your support...I couldn't wait to log on this morning!!

BFAST today...3 eggs and 1 ounce of cheddar
LUNCH............4 oz chicken 1 TBSP. Mayo 2 cups salad w/1 TBSP. Blue Cheese dressing
(and of course lots of water)

Also, i use minced or shredded zucchini skilleted up with a little butter for a hashbrowny taste! In case you want to add them to your eggs and cheese in the AM
