| Hey Glancing, Welcome...I too have a lot of weight to lose...but I have changed my mindset from looking at it like "I have a lot of weight to lose"...to "25 lbs till my next mini goal" I think setting mini goals really helps...doesnt make the task seem so daunting. Also join some of the challenges here...they are really motivating. I just joined the "springing into action" one in the century club...and pledged to lose 25 lbs by march 21st. The challenges will really help you stay focused. Best of luck to you...were right here with you!!! |

| Welcome TGL! I am also new here, but I have found that it has been very motivating to me. I find myself wanting to get on the ADBB frequently for support, find new recipes, etc. My sister recommended ADBB, and she was right. It's great!! I too had tried Atkin's a couple of years ago and lost 60lbs., but I didn't stick with it. I promised to myself I would not do that because it takes a lot of work, but here I am. We can do it TGL...hang in there. Maria |
