| Hello, TiredOfHamburgers ![]() Welcome to ADBB! My friend, the first thing that jumps out at me when I read your post was the fact that you don't eat veggies. That's not Atkins. This board follows the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR for short). Dr. Atkins outlined a very specific plan for this WOE (way of eating), and was very clear that at any given phase of Atkins, most of your carbs should come in the form of non-starchy veggies. Atkins is LOW carb, not "NO" carb. Have you read the book yet? I think that the idea of weighing only once a week is OUTSTANDING! Good for you... it's easy to become a slave to the scale, but it truly is a very poor indicator of fat loss. I liked watching watching clothes that used to be tight, become too big. | Thank you for the warm welcome. Yeah I have read the book amongst other books dedicated to the diet. My problem is that my whole life I haven't eaten any veggies. Don't like em. I do take an all natural veggie supplement that I get at the health food store. So I weighed myself today and I lost a lot more than I though I would, but I think it is because I was sick with a stomach virus for the whole weekend, but hey whatever helps the process . 1 week down and a lifetime to go.

| Search the recipes for veggies. My husband also doesn't care for veggies, but he's eating them and liking them now. Don't forget you can put cheese on them. I hope you can acquire a taste for them. Welcome. |
