| Welcome aboard ABRANDNEWME! My EX-doctor strongly suggested that I have bariatric surgery or lap-band as an answer to losing weight and correcting recently diagnosed diabetes 2. Did you notice "EX"? You are 100% ... it is only a 'tool' to have this surgery and not a 'resolution' to lose weight! Good luck, you found a GREAT group of folks and program!

| ABRANDNEWME, welcome to ADBB ! It's true, the first few days are the hardest. Just watch your carb intake and if you're hungry *eat*. I felt like I was eating all the time the first few days. Isn't it a relief to know that if you're hungry you get to eat? Keep coming to the board for information, support, and motivation.Good luck to you! |
