| Welcome to Tim!You're certainly not alone as many people notice that weight loss is slower on subsequent attempts. The combination of poor eating habits pre-Induction and the multiple attempts at weight loss do have a slowing effect on the metabolism. This isn't a phenomenon unique to Atkins, but an effect of yo-yo'ing on any plan. However, all you need to do is stay the course and follow the plan to the letter as Dr. Atkins formulated in New Diet Revolution 2002 edition and the weight will come off. All the best on your weight loss journey and if you need anything please feel free to give a shout! ~Far la bella figura!

| thanks for your support Jace, WOW on your progress from start to current! Congratulations! Thats amazing! As for the Diet I have been staying on it as stringent as possible, although my guess is the reason for my slow progress is the effect of yo-yoing on diets left and right, so now I figure like you said that my metabolism was a little bit compromised. |
