| Welcome!!! So glad you joined. I know how you feel about the veggies predicament. I'm not a fan of veggies at all!!!! I'm looking into some ideas to fix this though. Ever heard of Jerry Seinfeld's wife's new cookbook? It's call "Deceptivily Delicious". I don't own it but from what I've heard she takes veggies and then processes them in a food processor and adds it to whatever she is making (ex: she puts spinach in brownies, carrots in mac n cheese). The veggies are ground so fine that you can't taste them in the recipe. I'm thinking of trying something like this wit Atkins friendly recipes. Yesterday I made a casserole with Onions, I hate onion but I cute them sooo fine that I could eat them without tasting them. That's just an idea! Anyway, welcome again! Good luck on your journey to a skinnier, healthier you! Stay Strong!! |

| Thanks. I do have another problem ... at one point in my life (about 20 years ago) I weighed 155 pounds (I'm 5'7") ... everyone around me told me I was too thin. At 175, I felt my best, and was told I looked my best. But when calculating my BMI, even 175 is considered overweight. Is weight really just a number? If I look good, feel good, and am healthy at 175-180, is it still "ok" to have a BMI of 28 and be considered overweight? |
