| Welcome!!! I too am on SUCH a limited budget..so I know how you feel. I usually stock uop where there are sales. Like chicken break breast goes on sale every so often for about 1.79 a pound and I get a few and freeze them. I also check the discounted meats....right before the expiration dates theymark them down a LOT and you can make them right away or freeze. Eggs are cheap..so are cans of tuna. Here's alink to a whole thread full of ideas for those who are on a tight budget trying to do this WOL. This WOE on a budget.. How do you do it? Hope this helps!

| Hi Sophia and welcome back to ADBB. I am a penny pincher by nature. I bargain shop and I buy in bulk. I always buy the family packs of whatever meats I'm purchasing. Another tip that I have found helpful is instead of chicken breasts, I buy the thighs and deboned them. You get more for your money. Hope that helps. Have a great day! |
