| Thats so great! The 1st 5lbs is a big step. I am only at 2lbs down but I have not weighed for a week! Tomorrows the day! Its hard to keep myself from weighing everyday because I want to know that its working! |

| Good for you for not being a slave to the metal monster (scale). Our weight flucuates daily ~~~due to salt intake, exercise building muscle, water & of course TOM. There are many other ways to measure progress~~~take your measurements & ask yourself how you are feeling. Do you have more energy, has your appetite decreased,are you sleeping better etc...

| That is great that you are down to 5 lbs. already! I started atkins on 5/22/08 so today is day #6 for me. I haven't weighed myself yet. I cant have a scale around at all because I actually get discouraged . I have a friend weigh me at her house which really helps me out. | Welcome!! Congrats on your loss thus far-trust me this is only the wonderful beginning for your weight loss. Scales are evil so if you can, steer clear of them as much as possible. Pay closer attention to the way your clothes fit. In no time flat you'll have to get a smaller wardrobe. I highly recommend you start a journal or journal stat to keep track of your progress. Take lots of pics and have fun!! I wish you all the best! This site rocks... |
