| Hi jburg34 Welcome. Congratulations on your 5lb. That is awesome. The rungs are the steps after induction when you slowly start adding back all the food you cut out. This is done in stages beginning with food very low on the glycemic index and working your way up. It is also referred to as OWL (Ongoing Weight Loss). You also try to find out how many carbs you can actually eat and still lose weight when in OWL.

| Welcome. You didn't state how much you have to lose. But just so you know you usually you lose about 10% of the weight you need to lose. But everyone is different. It is explained in the book. On page 171 in my book it talks about the carbohydrate ladder. These are the rungs we talk about. Hope to see you in the induction forum.
