| Other sweeteners like Splenda are allowed, but some of us find it stalls us. The newest version of Atkins is different from the 70s version ands it is definitely worth buying the new book. As a substitute, read the Induction and OWL stickies. They give a lot of the updated information. Welcome to the board.

| Welcome! Just a heads up this board is based on the 2002 Edition of Atkins' book not the newer version. Good luck! |

Welcome to the boards and best of luck in your Atkins journey!!I agree about getting the 2002 book. I have that and a 1980's version and the differences are amazing. I have followed both plans, and I must say, I feel much healthier getting in all the veggies this time around....and, no constipation! (TMI?) |
