| Hiya Fonda and welcome! Kudos to you for getting prepared with snacks so as to avoid the more carby stuff! If cravings hit, high fat snacks are good. Keep us posted as to your progress and keep your eye on your target. If you follow the plan to the letter, you'll get there!

| Hang in there everyone, and I am speaking to me, as well. I started my "Atkins" on 7-2-08, my 62nd birthday and I am keeping a daily journal, to see where I am the weakest at. Also, I am only weighing on Wednesday's, and when I was on this diet last year, I lost 37 pounds, but hit a "plateau" and gradually put back on 30 pounds. I have a total of 100 pounds to lose, to be where I should be to be healthy and feel great about my body and the changes of "old age" as they creep up on me. Thanks for everyone's "blogs" and I am so glad I joined this group and "re-started" my "Atkins for Life" plan. marysltlamb, aka, Mary |

| Hi Fonda, there are many threads on constipation. Flax is good for this, you could also try a stool softener. The allowed veggies should keep things moving though. Looks like this way of eating is working for you f4n |
