Hello,

My name is Mark (MarkE). Today is day 11 of the induction phase for me. This is my first time trying Atkins and so far it has been good. My starting weight was 267lbs. and during the first week I lost 9lbs (258lbs). Today I will weigh in again, I hope to get similar results based upon the facts that my clothes are fitting looser and I dropped down another hole in my belt. Anyhow, I have been lurking and this looks like a great site. I look forward to meeting fellow Atkins followers. Have a happy 4th of July.

I was also amazed at our similar age, weight, height and goals. I thought it might be nice to have someone to track my progress with.

Hi Mark! You seem like you're off to a good start. Keep it up and you will love the results! I lost 14 lbs. during induction and I'm doing extended induction now. Hopefully we can keep in touch and motivate eachother.
