| Hi Mandy and welcome to the ADBB! My tip would be that you read the book (DANDR - Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution), if you haven't already. It will give you all the science behind this way of eating, and understanding how the plan works is a huge help. This board goes by the 2002 edition which was the last one Dr A wrote before his death. Happy Atkineering!

| Hi mmayhue, go to the induction forum and read all you can. Go to the exercise forum and join a challenge or two. Reading the book is #1 but these forums all rock. You can and will lose 30 lbs., putting a date on it is a goal. Wish you much success |

| Hi Mandy, My advice would be to stay focussed and to remember this is a life journey. I suggest taking part in the discussion on the board - post questions and comments in the induction forum and elsewhere and have a blast.
