| from one newbie to another, keep coming here, keep reading and keep up the good work ! from what i hear you can expect to lose 5-10% of your goal wt loss during induction, i had TOM during induction and it was a downer.. however 13 lbs in one month is still not too shabby.. it all adds up ! |

| Hi vhspot, I never show that I am in ketosis on the stick but the cravings are gone and I am losing. My reaction to the sticks was different each time I did Atkins so I think it changes with your own changes. I find each time I do this WOE I lose less in Induction and the weight comes off slower. Part of it is age (first time was in my 20s, then at 41 and now at 47) and my hormones are in the equation too. Some of this may be a factor for you too. But even if it isn't a quick fix, it will work. I have found that approaching it as a permanent way of life rather than a diet helps. I also have come to the conclusion that I cannot give my body deadlines and my best goals are about focusing on doing things right, rather than on the number on the scale. Maybe some of this will ring true for you too. Bottom line is, it is working. Welcome to ADBB. You will find great support here. Wishing you well on your journey.
