Default I'm a newbie..

Hey ALL.
I am on My 2nd day and it certainly can be hard. I miss the sweets, breads .. anything with a sweet taste. it's so hard but seriously , seeing the before and after pics on here of people that did this and lost so much weight. I weigh 319lbs, I'm 30 and Female. been overweight all my life and it sucks!!! Hope I get to post my own before and after pics on here someday.

Hi there congrats on your 2nd day! I am starting induction on Monday.. have done atkins before with great results so I am excited. Keep in touch.

Thanks, so what kind of results did u have before? How easy did the weight come off?

I did the program a couple of years ago and lost 50 lbs in 6 months. I followed the diet great but I drank too much coffee and had too many products with splenda in it and ended up hospitalized.. so over time I gained all the weight back and then some.. I want to lose 80-100 lbs this time around... I have been putting it off and tried other diets like Alli but nothing works like atkins for me.. i just always made up excuses been going through a divorce and it has been stressful... but i am ready to get my life back..starting new job on monday and want to get healthy again. Atkins really does work and as long as you are honest and use a journal which i think is key to the whole thing so you are aware of everything you are eating it will work wonders.
