Default Happy Sunday to All

I am really excited about this ADBB, plan to visit often. I decided to begin the Atkins plan after my office mate talked so much about it. I could not believe the foods she was eating. I have been so ingrained for years with the low fat, fat free way of thinking. Despite all of that my weight crept up to a number I had NEVER seen on my scale, heavier than when I was 9 months pregnant. I hate the roll around my midsection and I can wear very few of my previous wardrobe. I am on my 4th day of induction and the scales are down 3 pounds so I am feeling very good about that, still learning about the process. What book do you recommend, I bought Atkins for life and I think I need a more basic one. Looking forward to the journey.

Hi, havnfun

This board is centered around the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR for short). I recently ordered a new copy for myself through www.booksamillion.com. I have the Atkins for Life book, too, but you're right - it doesn't go into any details and it is very helpful to have the 2002 DANDR.

Hey, how about you put some info into your siggie so we can get to know you better? And it will help us to help you, if you ever need some advice. You do that by going to the blue bar at the top, and clicking on "Quick Links". Then click on "Edit Signature" and add whatever info you wish. That way, it will show every time that you post. Some good info to include would be your age, height, start date, start weight, current weight, and goal weight. You can also include a ticker, if you wish. You can get one of those at www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/ticker/ or www.tickerfactory.com.

I'm glad that you've found us! Post often, OK? Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies and for the helpful suggestions. I haven't quite figured out how to add my ticker from tickerfactory to my signature yet. Mitzi the pictures are gorgeous, I am so inspired. Thanks again !
