Day One Complete!

HI there just wanted to say I had the best dinner over with my hubby tonight and felt so satisfied! We had some wonderful baked catfish and a nice salad with some homeade olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing~

Usually we sit all night and watch tv and munch munch munch. First we would get some twizzlers then move to some Ice Cream or chips! I thought oh boy! My hubby Craig is going to have a tough tough time as he has a sweet tooth that is incredible. He texted me already today and started getting a headache this afternoon> Both his father, brother and aunt have Diabetes so we have to take this seriously!

I myself just had back surgery in July! The Dr. came out the waiting room after my surgery and said Kari needs to do three things! LOSE WEIGHT LOSE WEIGHT AND LOSE WEIGHT UGGHHH..... I have been sooooo lost on what program to start and one day I just knew this was the way I NEED to go! I pray this works as I am not ready to have gastric bypass and it seems every doc brings it up to me, I feel there has to be some other way! Thanks for all your posting and know it is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to ADBB. It looks like you have two "young" sources of motivation just like I do (the children). I try to stick to this plan for them on days when I don't really feel like doing it for myself. Confiding in family, friends, and this site has been very helpful in my journey to date -- hope it works for you as well!
