| I hear you about celebration through Carbs! My father was a big offender on this. If the weather was cold and snow was falling...it was pasta time!. If someone just announced an engagement, promotion or new baby on the way...it was pasta time! If my mother, my siblings or myself were feeling down or had a dissapointment.....you got it...he would say,"you just need more pasta!" Of course every heaping dish was served with a heaping plate of hot garlic bread! ![]() There are so many great recipes on the board. I would be fine never eating pasta again. I think you will find the same thing. I have made Oopsie rolls which were good when I added garlic powder to them. I also make Cauliflower pizza which my family loves so much I am lucky to get a slice which works out well....gotta count those carbs! You are in the right place for encouragement. Welcome! |
