| Hello, Shontoya! Welcome to the boards! Yes, this site will help alot because everyone here is SO supportive. There is so much here and in Dr.Atkins' book about getting that support from your family and friends...and if you cannot, at least learning how to rebut it and learn to cope with it. It's imperative that we insist on it for OUR health. No one can tell you what to put in your mouth so it's up to us to prepare for those challenges ahead of time...when going to others' homes and to restaurants. I wish you the best and please keep coming back for answers, support, tips and recipes!! This is the beginning of my 2nd week of induction. My hubby is doing it with me and he's down about 8 lbs and I'm down 4, but moreso in inches for me since I started swimming 25 laps daily so I think I am gaining muscle. My clothes are looser but I haven't remeasured yet. You can do this! |
