| Hello and welcome! No clue on the shakes, never tried the Atkins products. Happyinlife recently offered protein shake recipes: I use a scoop of Cookies n Cream pure protein powder (sold in publix) 2 carbs per scoop. I understand that Designer protein powder is very good too. I also use the vanilla protein powder flavor and add 4 strawberries or 1/4 cup of blueberries with about 1/4 cup of cream, tsp splenda, 3 ice cubs and about 1/4 to 1/3 cup water. You will want to play around with it to your preference.

| I know what you mean about the shakes. Something about the new packaging gives it a nasty, metallic, kinda oily taste. Thankfully Ingles still sells the cans where I live. For now, anyway. I haven't tried any other shakes. If you try making your own, let us know how it turns out! |
