Hello Britt

Like yourself I have also been on induction before, many years ago. I did only the induction phase lost 10lbs in 2 weeks, didn't continue but didn't regain the weight either. I am now restarting Induction, although this time it is more of a challenge as I am vegetarian and hadn't eaten eggs for years and don't like cheese that much (90% vegan) but have been eating cheese in little cubes and force feeding myself a one-egg omlette every other day (and holding my nose) and I have not felt like dipping into the biscuit tin at work (I would eat 10 biscuits in one sitting easily and want more....) I hope you reach your goals. Best of luck! x

Fingers crossed, Dreya and Mummy... greetings!

I'm now on day two and I am amazed at the reduction in appetite. After eating a 3 egg omelette for breakfast I was still full at lunchtime and had to force down a cheese stick and lettuce!

Dinner will be chicken breast sauted in spinach with lots of garlic and olive oil...yum!

Dreya, induction might be tough if you don't like eggs and cheese. However, I think once you move into OWL it'll be much easier.

Fingers crossed and mummy. Nice to hear from you in the UK. I'm one homesick Britt. However, I've got to admit that the Atkins WOE will be much easier without the temptation of cadbury's chocolate and walkers
crisps and lets not even talk about McVities digestives with a good cup of tea...oh boy here I go slobbering all over myself again. Okay Britt think meat... think eggs... and cheese

I can't believe how supportive everyone is around here. Think I'm gonna like this board

Good luck to you all

Hey Britt, just checking in to see how you are doing?

I've decided to start today. I had family come by because of Hurricane Gustav, and I ate some rice (very small amount but rice). So I decided to start today since it's a new day at work.

Hey there Brightstar,
Things are good, thanks! A little sugar craving this afternoon but nothing I couldn't handle. My youngest son started kindergarten today and that was a little traumatic (for me.) Normally I would have reached for the chocolate but today I excercised and suprisingly enough it really helped lift my spirits

Sorry to hear you had a setback yesterday - but it's great that you got right back to it today! I found a great website with some good induction recipes: www.sugarfreesheila.com have you been there yet? If not check it out... That Sheila is quite an inspiration!
Good Luck
