| Thanks for the welcomes and encouragement. The induction flu was indeed short-lived. I still felt kind of sluggish through most of the day yesterday. I went to bed early and was awake at 5:00 a.m. today. I got up feeling good and went straight to the kitchen to cook 1+ pounds of bacon (a few days' supply) and an omelet. If that's the worst it gets, it should be smooth sailing from here. |

| that's the worse it gets, unless you imbibe in one of those "just one cheat won't hurt" days.....the carb hangover sucks and you'll soon discover it ain't worth it |

Spent most of the morning in the kitchen preparing meals for the next several days for home and for work: chicken, Italian sausage, ham, lo-carb coleslaw. Then I hit the trail at the local park for about a two-mile walk. Seems that the majority of members here (active anyway) are female. Not sure if I can handle hanging with mostly women. |
