One of the most important pieces of advice I can offer to you, is to look upon the Atkins WOE (way of eating) as a lifestyle change to achieve better health... not just a means to lose weight. It's important to read the book (we use the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution here), so that you can fully understand the science behind it.
