Default New Member - old Atkins Fan!

Hi Everyone,


Well my name is Sue and I have reached the dreaded 40!!! I am about to embark on the Atkins again. I had done previously twice with good results but move over to the USA, new house, new job, new life has taken it's toll on me and I have decided to get my body back on track.

I have been on numerous diets and although they do work they only last a short while and I end up putting back on the weight.

Both my Hubby & myself are making the commitment to start the Atkins again - we cant find our book at the moment so going to search the closets again lol

Anyway I have previously lost 30+lbs the last couple of times I didn the Atkins...so I am hoping for similar results. I am looking to lose 30-40lbs.

Welcome to ADBB!

Look hard for your book, OK? Even though I have read it several times, I am in the midst of reading it again now. It's important to understand the plan. Knowledge is power!

Great that hubby is doing this with you! You'll make a wonderful team. Stick close to the board, and ask any questions that you may have. If you haven't read this yet, please check it out: If you are NEW, READ THIS! There's a lot of information there that should help you out with the plan (keep looking for your book!). It also includes some links to some popular spots on the board.
