| Bonjour et bienvenue, Janvier! Your post really highlights the emotional strings we have tangled in our weight and body image. Your boyfriend has it right. You'll find this forum a great support so bring it all to the table. Best wishes on your journey toward healthy happiness.

| Janvier I am sure you have read that this can be transformational. A couple simple guidelines: You need to be honest with yourself and help others here. By being honest you will get down to the facts of what works and why. By helping others you will benefit them and before long you will be the master teaching the student. You're off to a great start on both counts! When you think about it, it's not a bad deal for the upcoming transformation to the new you! Keep us posted.

| Thank you both very much for the replies. I certainly intend on being completely honest. I think this is the first time I've disclosed to anyone my true weight, ha ha. One day down so far! |

| Hi Janvier I can feel your pain because I share your pain. I hope we both can loose this weight and keep it off. |
