| Welcome Farrah. One of the secrets of getting rid of cravings is to avoid any thing sweet in the beginning. So don't eat - fake food and artificial sweeteners and see how that works for you. Also since you still are so young (lucky you) you need to make sure you eat from all foodgroups. I recommend just cutting out the whitestuff (sugar, flour, pasta, rice) and a lot of processed stuff and eat healthy whole food - I think that is all you will need with your 16 year old metabolism. Drink plenty of water too and get some exercise in. Good luck to you.

![]() Don't be scared...this has got to be the easiest way I have ever lost weight in my life! Have you read the DANDAR?? If not, that's going to be your very FIRST step. Once you read how this all works, I'm sure you'll see how easy, and fulfilling it is. If you have read the book, try to relax and just go with the flow. This site is jam packed with the things you need to have the best weight loss success. Check out the recipe threads, start a journal or a stats log, join an exercise challenge, and away you go! Take it one day at a time...focus on the foods you can have instead of what you cannot.
