Default Hi...I need a good swift KICK !

Hi, my name is Karen I'm 49 years young, I'm 5 ft 4 and my average weight is 135.BUT for the last 2 years, I guess you would say I have went crazy. I now weigh 170. I went from my smallest a size 6 to a 12. I really need help and some good pointers. I got to be at least 30 lbs lighter by next summer, or should I shoot for my 50th b day April 3 ? Help me. Please

Welcome. Just follow the rules, drink your water, take your vitamins and exercise and you should get back to your comfort size. Did you start yet?

CONSIDER YOURSELF KICKED....

Either goals are good goals for you to set... see how the next month goes and reevaluate your progress at that point... we all react differently to going low carb and you need to set reasonable goals based on how you respond to this way of life. I personally am losing slowly... and that is ok for me... I am quite sure that by losing slowly I will be better prepared to mainain my losses over the long haul!

The best advice is to read the book!! Follow the plan as Dr. A lays out & you'll do great. Post here often, ask questions, try new recipes, join a challenge or two & start a journal!! Welcome to ADBB~~~the best place for support & the occassional good swift kick!

Ok thanks for the great advice, I have read the book as I did Atkins 6 years ago with great success, I am going to re read though. Just to let everyone know I'm starting tomorrow.... FOR SURE. We have french toast this morning with parents. So tomorrow it is.
