Talking Just finished the first week

I just started the induction phase last week and I have already lost 7 lbs and 7''!!! I am so excited. I had low energy for the first few days but Im still not experiencing the whole energy burst thing. I had my first baby 9 months ago and I had lost a ton of weight but I want to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight which is 120 lbs. After the first week Im at 163.4 lbs. Im so glad to see the scale going down. It doesnt lie. Im really hoping with this new lifestyle change I can get back into my clothes by the beginning of next year. I work out pretty hard 5 days a week and Im really determined. Seeing the results is enough to keep me motivated. I would love to have a buddy to keep me motivated maybe another mom. I am a bit nervous about the holidays coming up. Not so much christmas but thanksgiving is going to be torture. any advice?

Default Re: Just finished the first week

Hi Jessica13. Congratulations on your great weight loss! It sounds like you're doing great. This is my second time doing Atkins. My weight loss is a lot slower this time. My first time I went from 200 to 150 and felt great. Stick with it your energy really does pick up! I have a little boy who will be one next week. Also my first. You'll do great during the holidays. You'll be able to move into OWL by then. I'm sure there will be plenty of Turkey and Ham to choose from. It's hard for me during the holiday season. I usually eat carbs but not too much so I don't feel deprived. I just do it for the one day though and am back on board the next. Stick with it!
