Hello Athenamo! Ditto on the fear of scales. I started my journey on Sept. 30th ... I also do not know how much weight I've dropped. But I know I've dropped (1) size and that's enough to keep me motivated. I've also noticed that I don't have gas pains like before. (I'm much more comfortable now) Good luck to you and keep us updated on your progress.

| Thanks for the response! I have always had a fear of scales and I figure when the time is right (and I think I will know when that is, and I feel good enough) I will get on the scale..... I heart atkins so much!!!! I love it! of course it has only been 9 days but I think it is amazing. Any tips or tricks you have found that are helpful? |

Do you use fitday? It's a great way to keep track of what you eat. In the beginning I was using it everyday ... I've recently started to slack off and not use it. But I find it helps me make wiser decisions in food selections. I could go on and on about everything I've learned on here ... as I mentioned before, come here often and ask questions everybody is so helpful.
