| Hi, Martha Welcome to ADBB! ![]() Hey, just curious - which particular Atkins book are you following? This board is based around the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR for short). I ask, because I have read the books put out by "the company" since the death of Dr. Atkins, and there are some fundamental differences. I'm not saying it's impossible to lose weight on the newer plan, but I just wanted to explain where the advice on this board comes from. How fantastic that you have a trainer! Exercise will help you so much!! Good for you, for doing it. Lots of folks find exercise the hardest part of the Atkins lifestyle. Make sure to explore all that this board has to offer... it is HUGE, and there's something for everyone. Good luck! |
