Hi Jason, A big warm welcome to both you and your wife, congratulations on making the choice to get healthy....it's great to have you both here! Remember to read the Atkins book thoroughly and carefully. make sure the two of you complete a clean Induction....drink plenty of water, surround yourselves with food that you are allowed during this Induction period and fit some form of exercise into your daily lives. Come here lots, read as many posts as you can (this board is amazing) and post as often as you like. We're all in this together and everyone on this forum is incredibly supportive and truly care about each other. It's really good to meet you! Welcome to you both! It's nice to have a buddy. My husband can't go Atkins because he has one kidney, but he's trying to cut down on carbs in general. This board is awesome. You'll find support...heartfelt support...from people you've never even met. Cheers! Shelley

Thanks for the warm welcome. That headache turned into a migraine and I was really hurting. I ended up vomiting twice. But, I stuck to the induction and didn't have any caffeine or foods not on the approved list. Today is a new day and I made it through day one. I still feel a slight dull headache and a little cloudy. But, I think I will be fine.
