| Good luck! That gym sounds pretty cool - I don't do gyms because I get bored to tears, but maybe that one would be the exception to the rule... |

| Yeah it's the only gym I've ever been excited about going to lol it also has big screen TV's in the cardio area and I can plug my headphones into the machine and listen to whatever TV I want which will help so much! It's called Lifetime Fitness.

| Hi Chelsey and welcome back! And ... Good Luck!!! Did you try the new gym yet? That is so freaking cool that you can plug in & watch t.v. while you work out! Does your boyfriend eat lo-carb? That would just be incredible if you had a partner that worked out with you AND ate healthy like you want to as well! (If he does, does he have an older brother ... ?) Hope re-induction isn't giving you too much trouble - post back & let us know how you are doing!

| Hey everyone! Thanks for the replies! Yeah I've been to the gym, I LOVE it lol I have NEVER liked working out and now I'm the one making my bf go with me instead of him forcing me to go haha. We went 3 days last week and so far just once this week but I'm determined to go at least 4 days a week. The TV's make a HUGE difference, they have about 10 bikes that have their own TV's built in so I can watch whatever I want instead of what they put on the big TV's. Which is what I've been using, it's making me work out longer too because I don't want to miss any of my shows lol. Wendy - my bf doesn't eat lowcarb My progress with inductiion is going pretty well, I've had a couple mess ups but I got right back on track. I decided I'm going to try and not weigh myself until Christmas lol I hope I can last that long!

| Hi Chelsey, The way you are all excited about exercising & going to the gym, etc. is SO inspirational - almost makes me want to hop on my Suzanne Somers Turbo Track while I watch my recorded soaps!! (ALMOST!!) You mentioned you had a few slip ups and also that you are thinking of not weighing again until Christmas ... just wondering if in the past you were obsessive with the scale? What's driving you to keep off it? The reason I ask is that if you use it in moderation, the scale can be a great motivator. For me personally, I tend to obsess over it - so this time I'm forcing myself to ONLY weigh in on Wednesday mornings. So far, I've been able to stick to that plan. One benefit: I messed up last Saturday and then had a few days to overcome the screw up before I had to weigh in - but I knew the day of reckoning was coming so it added pressure to stick-to-plan until then. Whatever works best for each of us is the way to go of course - I'm not preaching at you! Just curious (nosy!) about your particular plan! Keep up the great work! Wendy PS Good for you for not cooking for him too often - gotta train those boys to appreciate it when we DO go all out for them!

| Hey Wendy! I don't really have a reason to not weight until Christmas I think I just want to get a huge surprise when I don't know how much I've been losing week to week. When I tried Atkins last year I weighed about twice a week if not more because I was so obsessed with seeing how well Atkins works but this time I know how well it works so I want to try and wait a month to weigh-in. I think in a way it will keep me motivated to stay on the plan so I will be super shocked when I do find out how much I've lost.

| Hi Chelsey, I understand completely! I suspected you must have had some sort of history with scale obsession!!! Good for you for planning around that. Won't be too long until you are at your one month marker - I hope you have stuck to plan and will get an AWESOME result. If not, you still know that this way of eating WORKS if you give it a serious effort, and you will carry on and continue to get healthier even if you messed up this first month! It's sobering isn't it, to truly recognize that your success is in you very own hands ... in the decisions you make about what you choose to eat each and every meal. I have stashed my scale at home inside the cabinet in the bathroom so that it's too much work to drag it out. I now weigh only on Wednesday mornings at the doctor's office. I am determined to make that program work, and so far it has. Haven't been real tickled with my losses the previous few weeks, but this morning (yes, on a Tuesday but it worked with my vacation plans!) I had a nice 3.6 pound loss and I'm once again feeling invincible. (Need to seriously work on how much importance I place on a mere week's progress!!) Not to discount the week's effort, but it's the long haul/big picture I want to get invested in now, you know? Good luck & post back here with your results!
