I'm new here, it's my 3rd week on Atkins

Hello everyone, i tried Atkins before but now I see how serious it is that I loose weight. I was diagnosed with PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome in 2000 and have IR insulin resistance. I wasn't able to stick to Atkins in the past but now I admit I wasn't eating very healthy either. So now I'm starting again and I'm happy with my progress so far. It's going on my 4th week and I've lost 4.5 inches from my waist. I haven't weighed but my beginning weight was about 255 lbs. I'm only 31yrs old, single, and 4'11 tall so that puts me way overweight for my height. My goal is to get down to at least 175 lbs and then 140. So, I have two goals for now. I'm a binge eater and I realize I am an emotional eater also. I've overcome alot of problems in my life and now it's time to tackle my weight problem. Thank you for this great website. I really was inspired to see all the before and after pictures. One day I will get up the nerve to post mine. Thank you!!!
