Most of the world is still struggling with the low calorie, low fat way of eating... we've found a better way. I am so blessed to have a doctor who understands and loves the Atkins plan. He is the one who steered me in this direction, and it's definitely the kind of lifestyle that my body needs. Make sure to read the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution. That's the book that this board is based around, and it is a great source of information and motivation. | hey. I started on sunday, and like you i've yo-yo dieted for years with no success. For the past few months i've tried a very low calorie diet but i hardly lost anything and it made me ill and miserable. I have done atkins a few years ago, and i have to say that it was the only one that has worked for me. that's why i've decided to give it another go. i wasn't commited before, what with being at university, having a boyfriend, drinking etc. This does work!!! You should be excited that you know for certain that you will loose weight. I wish you all the luck in the world with losing those 50 pounds. Just don't give up!!!!
